Steve was called to the Bar of Ontario and Massachusetts in 2006 following a 15+ year career in engineering and research and completing articles at Fraser Milner Casgrain (Ottawa) and Goodwin Procter (Boston). He is currently Registered Counsel in California. Stephen has held a variety of engineering, management, and board positions in the semiconductor industry including consultancy and venture capital. He was previously a board member serving the C2Mi and currently serves on the board of other start-up companies.
Rob is a successful growth executive, skilled at helping mid-size SaaS, AI, IoT, telecom and data platform organizations to scale. His 25-year technology career began with Clearnet Communications Inc in 1997 and was followed by serving as Director of New Technology Introduction and R&D at TELUS until 2006.
In 2007, as Founder, President and CEO of the award-winning WireIE Group, Rob became a sought-after thought leader on delivering broadband to the unconnected. WireIE delivered broadband to resource extraction, government, and Tier 1 carriers globally to provide connectivity to rural and remote markets throughout the Americas.
After a successful exit from WireIE in 2019, Rob consulted in venture capital while supporting existing management teams with corporate board representation, sales leadership and execution, corporate fundraising, marketing, product alignment and IT operations. He is currently a member of the Board of Directors of IVI.TSX.V and MANS.CSE.
As the CEO of 6 Harmonics, Rob uses his expertise and passion for connecting the unconnected to leverage a robust product delivering TVWS to rural and remote markets globally.
Les is a senior strategic financial and administrative leader with over 35 years of experience in telecom, software, environmental, manufacturing, consulting, and banking sectors. He works collaboratively as part of senior management teams in all aspects of business, including business development, marketing, finance, administration, M&A, and strategic planning.
Les’ professional consulting expertise spans raising and managing capital, establishing budgets, reporting and managing results, and all legal and administrative aspects of businesses. He served as CFO of the WireIE group commencing from 2008 to 2020, a Canadian telecom company based in Richmond Hill, Ontario. Previously, he held senior management roles with BPS Inc., New Carbon Economy Fund, Tuttle, Shore & Gower, Mindflight Technology Inc., and the Mercantile Bank of Canada.
Les serves as a volunteer board member and President of the Scugog Chamber of Commerce in Port Perry and with the Durham Region Economic Development Department as a volunteer business networking session leader.
He holds an MBA from the Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario and a BA, English and BPE from McMaster University.
Robert co-founded 6Harmonics Inc. in 2010 and is responsible for the technology and patents behind its products, as well as more than 90 other wireless patents in previous employment positions. Prior to Co-founding 6Harmonics Inc. Robert was the Director of Research and Development for Wi-Lan Inc., Advisor Chief Modem Architect for Nortel Networks, and Professor, Ph.D. Supervisor for the Chinese Academy of Sciences for ten years.
Robert’s is a globally renowned expert in wireless communication systems design and deployment and cognitive radio, spectrum refarming and whitespace; skilled in wireless networking and routing, algorithms, and DSP/FPGA implementation. He is also sought out for his leadership in IP evaluation and RD strategy, as well as his in-depth knowledge of wireless standards and regulations.

Peter Sun has more than 20 years of industrial telecommunication experience. Prior to co-founding 6Harmonics Inc. in 2011, Peter was Software System Engineer with Research in Motion from 2006 to 2010. From 1987 to 2005, he worked as a wireless network engineer with Nortel.
Peter has six patents relating to wireless, plus more than ten articles and one book (WCDMA UTRAN Network Planning Principle and Practice, P&T Press, 2005).
Peter holds a Master, Economy and Banking from the University of International Business and Economics and a Bachelor, Mechanical Engineering from the Nanjing University of Science & Technology
